Guangzhou International Commercial Port officially began its construction on October 8. A new chapter is thus opened for the project construction. As a major strategic platform of Guangzhou, the project's implementation is of great significance for Guangzhou to enhance its international trade capacity and serve the high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Shouldering the primary responsibility as the home territory, Huadu District has pooled the wisdom and strength of the entire district, and taken a combination of measures to tackle tough challenges, and managed to achieve rapid acquisition, delivery, and listing of land, and high support of the public, and build a comprehensive guarantee system for the project's groundbreaking.

　　Implement the project at accelerated speed

　　Land security is the prerequisite cornerstone for the implement ion of major projects. Since the launch of the project, Huadu District has made securing land plot for the Guangzhou International Commercial Port a top priority. By continuing the fine tradition of "raise Party flag on the front line, send cadres to the forefront, and unite cadres and the masses to solve problems" that was developed in the relocation and demolition project for the airport Phase 3, insisting on high-level coordination, taking combination of measures, and uniting efforts of both officials and the masses, the District established a working mechanism of "daily meetings and timely scheduling", and pursued the principle that matters are settled and cleared during the day, without leaving them for tomorrow, to promptly assess and quickly handle difficulties and blockages found during demolition approval process. Efforts were made to streamline the entire process of land acquisition, delivery, and listing, to achieve rapid acquisition, delivery, and listing of land, and high support of the public As of now, 243 acres of reserved land have been coordinated, and about 214 acres have been newly acquired. The land for the northern part of the project’s initial area has been successfully delisted, and the South 1 and North 2 plots of Phase I have been listed. With Guangzhou Efficiency and Huadu Speed in land supply, the District is going all out to ensure the implementation of the Guangzhou International Commercial Port project.

　　Investment promotion goes before project construction Huadu District is leveraging its industrial forward layout to accumulate momentum for the development of commercial ports.
