Recently, the main structure of the Huadu Airport R&D and Intelligent Manufacturing Park project, invested and built by Guangzhou Huadu Airport Economy Development Co., Ltd., a district-owned state enterprise, has been fully topped out.  Jiang Weijun, the Party Chief and Director of the Airport Committee, Du Jianjun, a Level-4 Consultant, the leadership team of the Airport Company, heads of various departments, and members of the infrastructure team came together to witness the topping-out ceremony.  

　　Filling the gap in high-quality carriers in the area  

　　The project is located in a place south of the Daqing–Guangzhou Expressway and west of the Guangzhou-Lianzhou Expressway in Huadong Town, Huadu District. With a total investment of about 203 million yuan and a gross building area of about 56,000 square meters, it is designed to have two industrial plants, one staff dormitory, and supporting life service buildings.  Positioned as a high-standard 'innovation eco-park,' and designed under the concept of 'intelligence green valley,' the project breaks away from the traditional mode of single-function industrial plant, trying to integrate natural landscape with modern technology to create a convenient living circle where everything is available within the park.  The Park's main focus is on modern manufacturing industries, such as aviation-related manufacturing, auto parts, electronic information, high-end equipment, and new materials. With the exterior, load-bearing capacity, ceiling height, and other aspects being designed and built to high standards, the Park effectively fills the gap in high-quality industrial carriers in the area.

　　State-owned enterprise standards applied throughout the construction process

　　As a full-chain development project by a state-owned  enterprise of the District, its project team insists on full-process quality control, in which every step from material entry to construction acceptance is rigorously checked by implementing 'state-owned enterprise standards' in every procedure and detail.  The project leader said, 'Topping out is a milestone, while the quality of delivery is the final result. In subsequent steps of decoration and supporting facilities, we will maintain the same strict standards and follow through without slack.’  

　　Full-cycle operations empower industrial development  

　　The project is run by a state-owned enterprise following the 'self-invested, self-built, self-operated' model, and full life cycle services have been provided to the enterprise, such as government-related agency services, policy-based applications, financing matchmaking, talent supply, and industrial chain collaboration, to reduce operational costs and build a 'park-enterprise' symbiotic industrial ecosystem.  Once the prospective enterprises settle in and reach their designed capacity, it is expected that they will achieve an annual output value of over 1 billion yuan and generate an annual tax of over 30 million yuan.  

　　The next step of the Airport Company is to use the full topping-out of the main structure as a crucial milestone, closely monitor the time line, strictly control project quality, adhere to safety standards, and make every effort to complete and deliver the project with accelerated speed and better quality, while at the same time, efforts will be made to push the work in promotion of industrial investments, and pre-service preparation, trying to leverage the advantages of the 'self-invested, self-built, self-operated' mode of state-owned enterprise to create a well-equipped, high-quality, professional-service modern intelligent manufacturing park, so as to inject strong momentum into the nurturing of new productivity forces, and the promoting of high-quality regional development for the Huadu Airport Economy Zone.
